Started its activities in 2010 in J&K, French Club of Jammu within a short duration became a name especially for those interested in learning and knowing about the French language.
With the absence of much needed exposure and expertise in French language, students of schools, colleges and universities either end up in learning the language with compromised values or completely shy away from learning it.
French Club Jammu is a registered Social and Educational Trust and it is the only registered French Club in North India. The club has been since 2010 organising events including inter-school competitions in French language with the objective not only for propagation of the language but also to promote and felicitate hidden talents including entrepreneurs of Jammu.
The Club has assisted many schools to incorporate French language and helped many schools of Jammu like DPS Jammu, KC Public, IDPS, British International, Jodhamal, Heritage, Jammu Sanskriti, Shemford, Shaurya International among others by providing French teachers.
Members of the French Club are bureaucrats, academicians, doctors, engineers, models, fashion advisors, students and from other varied fields.
It is worthwhile to mention that French Club is the first one in Jammu that launched 'Gems of Jammu Calendar' in the year 2018 and the social activities of Club are widely appreciated by prominent personalities.
French Club Jammu aims to promote the French language and Francophone culture by providing quality language learning, cultural activities, and creative platforms. We strive to develop linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and global competence among learners through interactive teaching, events, workshops, and collaborations, preparing them for academic, professional, and international opportunities.
